Who we are and what we do

We are veteran educators who believe in a better way of educating our students. We want to see educators at all levels improving their instruction so they can affect the lives of their students in deepe, more meaningful ways. We are educators. We are practitioners. We are lovers of language and we provide the following services to help institutions take back what has been lost in curriculum design: Backward Design aligned with the 5Cs, the Foreign Language National Standards, Standards-based curriculum and assessment design, Thematic unit design, Performance, authentic, or outcomes based assessment, World Language Integrated Performance Assessment (IPAs), World Language articulated program design, The Arts in World Language Education, Differentiated Instruction and Assessment, Multiple Intelligences.

Dr. Eddy provides professional development to teachers and educational leaders in development of language curricula and standards-based performance assessment. She clarifies the foreign language standards and their implications for instruction and assessment with an innovative unit planning model and conceptual framework, UC ADAPT.
